Review of Joshua (2007) by Jorge A — 25 Apr 2008
ULTRA-creepy and ULTRA-weird, Joshua is an intensly uncomfortable movie to watch. Sam Rockwell continues to proove his salt as an actor but the kid is the standout. As the titular character he gives most unnerving performace I've seen from a child actor.
It's not a downright horror film, or even a thriller, it's just incredibly depressing. The end is a bit ambigious, though this was probably the intention of the film makers. Don't watch this one by yourself on a cold winter's night.
