I'm terrified of little kids. Seriously, the only thing that can genuinely scare me is a creepy kid and Joshua definitely qualifies as a creepy kid. On the whole, it's a decent enough psychological thriller that chooses to leave a lot of the plot open for speculation.
Some might find this effective, but I find it maddening considering the movie wasn't all that engaging to begin with. I forgot about the movie as soon as it ended rather than thinking about the "unsolved mysteries.
