Review of Joshua (2007) by Tara G — 21 Aug 2009
I have just finished watching this movie. I find this movie lousy. It is so cliched, it has the same innocent child but a murderer scenes as other similar movies. The only difference is the child is not shown hurting anyone or anything, it happens in the shadows/behind the scenes.
The actors who starred as the parents were great; I have noticed the mother is the same actress who starred in the movie "Orphan" (which is a favorite of mine). The child actor is average; he does not give any stand out performance.
The only scene (seriously the only scene in this movie) that stood out to me was toward the end with the father and children at the park. I want to give a lower rating but I do give credit for the quality of how the movie looks, a dark stylish feel.
