Review of Joshua (2006) by Sean C — 16 May 2008
Another version of The Bad Seed, The Good Son, and The Young Poisoner's Handbook that isn't nearly as terrifying as any of the aforementioned at their most mundane. The fault lies within the un-scary confines of a rather boring script that keeps building a sense of spookiness that never crescendos into outright terror followed by a clumsy, contrived finale (not to mention a handful of plot points that go absolutely nowhere).
