A contrived, unconvincing and ultimately uninteresting film that tries to hide its nonsensical plot behind the style and set up of films like The Omen only to pretend to show intelligence by deviating from their supernatural reasoning, forgetting that Joshua's supposed motivation, unlike a supernatural one, doesn't come close to being convincing.
