Review of Joshua (2002) by Nicholas W — 25 Mar 2008
I don't understand why people are disappointed with this film. Yes, it doesn't haunt the audience with ghostly visuals, but it does make us feel creepy. It brings back a bit of Hitchcock suspense and paranoia.
One hidden propagona of Joshua, which may have been overlooked by most viewers: it is a story about a (homosexual) boy who wants to get close to his (homosexual) uncle by getting rid of all straight members in the family.
