Review of Joshua (2002) by Jeff B — 14 Sep 2008
Not bad psychological thiller about a young boy who is alienated from the rest of his family and uses his intelligence to mess with the heads of those around him. It's a pretty slow film, and the trailer and synopsis make it out to be a horror film, which it isn't.
I didn't mind the film, the acting is pretty good, though some of the characters should have been in it more (the uncle) or didn't need to be in it all together (Michael McKean). I just wish the script flowed better.
Still, it's okay, but could have been so much better.
