Review of Jonah Hex (2010) by The D — 22 Feb 2011
This was just plain awful.
Nothing new storywise. After informing on a fellow Army officer an outlaw, Turnbull(Malkovich) takes revenge on Brolin's Jonah Hex, killing his wife & son & leaving Hex scarred for life.
Believeing Turnbull to have later been killed Hex leads a life as a much feared bounty hunter.
This is until of course Turnbull returns & the President enlists Hex again to track down Turnbull before he unleashes a 'nation killing' weapon stolen from the millitary.
That's it, it's barely 73 minutes long minus titles & it's a yawn rather than a yarn.
The music is uneccessarily rocking along to not very much happening. Megan Fox appears now & again flashing some thigh & kicking limited arse.
Brolin is on auto pilot & I think needs something new to do.
Just a complete waste of time.
