Review of Jonah Hex (2010) by Suneel J — 14 Aug 2013
Definitely one of the worst comic book adaptations ever to grace the big screen. Josh Brolin may be a solid actor, but the rest of the cast is just a pile of misfits that aren't worth their paychecks.
Brolin is insanely corny and boring in the lead role, while Megan Fox's character has no business in the film. A plot would have also been nice, seeing as they, essentially, failed to include one.
The story that exists is convoluted and makes no sense, whichever way you look at it. The action may be decent, but nobody cares because there's no point to anything happening that happens in the film.
The whole concept of death in the film is confusing, piled on by the stupidity of Hex never dying for whatever reason. The film would deserve 0 stars if not for Megan Fox's breasts being around. Brolin should stick to proper westerns like "True Grit" if he wants to erase viewers' memory of this trash heap of a film.
