Easily Oscar material. Joaquin takes us on a tour de force into the insanity of a psychotic derange criminal from a beginning of a begnin man who struggles with mental illness and poor social circumstances. I absolutely loved the movie and I WILL watch it a second time in a Cinema, which is something I do not do ever.
The storytelling, the in setting logic, the lore of the Joker, all was respected and all fitted. Well worth your money.
