Review of Johnson Family Vacation (2004) by Zack S — 11 Jun 2011

I wish Hollywood would stop trying to top my favorite movies sometimes. This movie of course, trying to be like the comedy classic National Lampoon's Vacation and failing in every way imaginable. Cedric The Entertainer is a great comedian, but he ain't no Chevy Chase! The only thing good about this movie is the casting, but it's really just a wasted opportunity.

I love Shannon Elizabeth, but her character was rather pointless especially. The humor is also a letdown as well. A lot of stale gags and a poorly executed script. Could have been something good, but it's crap in the end.
