Review of Johnny Mnemonic (1995) by Sarah A — 12 Oct 2010
This movie is not very good... but I had fun watching it for it being such a fun-stupid story; it has a dolphin with psychic energy that hooks up into Keanu Reeves' gigabytes in his brain, and Dolph Lundgren plays Jesus.
Some things like that, and a 'wait, Takeshi Kitano is in this?' moment make it watchable, though it's far from Cyberpunk's finest hour (and it is so far to the point of William Gibson being the writer).
