Review of Johnny English Reborn (2011) by Siraj L — 21 Dec 2011

This movie featured Rownan Atkinson, known mainly from his role as Mr. Bean which I am a huge fan of. When I saw this movie I first expected it to be almost like Mr. Bean, I was wrong. In this film, Johnny (Rowan Atkinson) was the main character and he has a lot of line, the reason why I said this is because with Mr.

Bean he rarely even talked. He is spy for MI7, just like from its predecessor. This movie is filled with a lot of puns and side jokes, which Rowan is famously known to be starred in. When I first entered the movie theaters I thought that the theater will be filled, nope, I was the only one.

Thought that this was a bad sign. I was wrong again. This movie made me laugh 87% of the time. And Johnny has a haunting past from his past mission that went horribly wrong. And twitches every time it is brought up.

This movie did receive some mixed reviews. But I noticed that people who don't really get British humour isn't a fan of Rowan. One thing that I don't like about the movie is that it has nothing to do with the predecessor, Johnny English, even though that movie had an open ending.

This movie also had an open ending, so I suspect another Johnny English movie to be made.
