Review of Johnny English Reborn (2011) by Martin B — 04 Mar 2012
I really enjoyed the first edition of Johnny English. Although it was made a bit shallow to suite the american public as well, it was still enough british quirky to work fine. Rowan Atkinson was also developing his talent in new interesting ways.
The second one however is close to a disaster. There's no charm, no fun plot, no chemistry and no quirkyness whatsover.
Sad, but eager to please to many demographics at the same time, I guess.
