Does the world need a spoof movie? What purpose does it serve? My best guess: Maybe it is to extract some laughter by ridiculing the original version. So what happens if the result is not funny or humorous? Then the whole endeavour has no reason to exist at all.
That is the case for Johnny English Reborn. Everything comes out from the same cookie cutter.
