Very rarely do sequels outshine the original model, particularly for something like Johnny English. But that's exactly what's happened when Atkinson returns for Reborn.
Critics love to hate this series. I enjoyed the original, but it failed to be too memorable among the hoarde of comedies in the marketplace today.
But Reborn, I feel, should remain memorable and fresh. It just has that extra edge.
British comedy the way it's meant to be.
