Review of John Wick: Chapter 2 (2017) by Tom B — 30 Mar 2017
I didn't think much of the original JOHN WICK, so my opinion at first was that this sequel wasn't warranted. I couldn't quite understand what everyone saw in a vigilante flick, without any original twists or expensive destruction.
The sequel's glowing reviews and towering grades on all predominant online charts; made WICK 2 a top agenda must-see. This time I am able to of knowledge its style, because they took the few characteristics that made the first movie a success (for those with a keen eye) and amplified them tenfold.
JOHN WICK 2 overexcels in cinematography; kill choreography, and digital environment eye candy. Like the original, it's plotline doesn't suppress a 007 classic, but the neverending body count of "continuous take" stylish gunplay, brings to light a new benchmark of quality action, without utilizing any computerization.
