A quick search on the internet shows that a lot of dudes just don't get the movie....John Wick is a cipher for Lucifer....the angel of light who falls from heaven to become the angel of death. Winston is God who has total power over life and death.
The 'gunshot to the head' obvious theme of the movie is that all humans will die, either because Winston has preordained it to be this way, or because evil seems to reign at times on earth. So many general punters go on and on about the assassin club and the markers.
They miss the point of the movie entirely...but maybe that's what Keanu wants Matrix-like...those who have ears....
