Review of John Wick: Chapter 2 (2017) by Ericrosar — 13 Feb 2017
A competent film when reviewed as a "by the books" action film. This needs to be stressed because if you are looking for a character study action/thriller, this is not it due to the lack of the thriller part or character study.
Dialogue is not its strong suit, neither is character development, however fight choreography is very strong. Keanu performs quite well as "Action Man". So under those parameters, it's just OK.
It's an popcorn movie, would recommend renting it though, not theaters.
