John Wick is effectively the American version of 'The Raid'. And much like that movie's sequel, 'John Wick: Chapter 2' has a bigger budget, bloodier action and more world building. Whilst the action is fantastically inventive and the cinematography exquisite, the movie lacks much of a narrative, as well as a compelling character to relate to and invest in. Still, if you're looking to pass a couple of hours and enjoy non-stop action, it's worth checking out.
