Keanu Reeves is still doing movies. His facial hair is the most compelling thing about him in this ultraviolent film, which has a nasty cheap tone throughout. Torture scenes aren't enough for you? Then let's show the bad guys destroying a beautiful puppy onscreen so that you know they're really bad.
Boring story when you realize that this entire film is just a bunch of crap you've seen before, regurgitated to make it seem fresh and interesting...kind of like a screenwriting metaphor for the Human Centipede.
You know what it is, you know what's coming, but you're forced to eat it anyway.
