Keanu Reeves isn't the most versatile actor, but I can't imagine anyone else playing this character physically as well as he does. The action is mesmerizing in such a way that adds depth to the characters ala Mad Max Fury Road.
But the fury is replaced with sadness, something that permeates the film in such an unique way I can't stop thinking about it.
