At the very beginning of this movie, a Russian thug follows John Wick to his house to steal his car, and purely because it was whining, snaps his puppy's neck and leaves her corpse beside his unconscious body.
I gave this movie a 2 star rating because that was the only thing that I could think of the whole movie. I don't appreciate violence towards animals in any movie, but paired with all the other violence in the movie, it was essentially like watching a bunch of people die, instead of watching a movie.
