John Wick is about a man who used to be a Hit-Man and he has recently lost his wife and in the aftermath, receives a puppy from which his wife setup for him to have in the result of her death. Only a few days afterwards, some of the members of the assassination organisation steal his favorite car and kill his dog, and he goes on a revenge path.
This movie is great at showing grief and loss, and that messing with an ex Hit-Man can really screw your life up. John Wick is great as well just for it's originality.
