Review of John Wick (2014) by Brandon A — 01 Dec 2016
"John Wick" is a high energy, adrenaline pumping action thriller about an ex-hitman who comes out of retiring to track down the punk gangsters who killed his dog, and stole his car, just a few days after his wife had passed away.
Not only will this movie keep you on the edge of your seat, but John Wick (played by Keanu Reeves) shows no mercy as he tracks down and kills a whole gang of people he used to work with by himself, which is quite entertaining in a movie.
This movie had some humorous moments, as well as sad, depressing, rage, and other strong emotions. The movie itself is mostly life like fights, car chases, shoot outs, amazing effects, well created characters, and even a good sound track to listen to as you watch John Wick kick some ass.
The bigger focus on the movie was the visual effects and the overall message rather than the dialogue. I enjoyed this movie and highly recommend it, as I have seen it so many times, it just gets better and better.
Just remember, don't kill an ex-hitman's dog, or he will find you, and he will kill you. Dogs are man's best friend, but never question what a man is capable of doing on his own.
