I certainly wouldn't call John Wick my favourite action film however it's definitely up there. Although the first two acts are noticeably similar to those in Taken there are enough differences that when you see it, you won't care.
The action sequences are incredibly memorable and fun to watch and the camera work is impeccable. I would recommend this film to absolutely anyone no matter what film genre you like I assure you, you will love this film.
