Keeanu Reeves' performance carries the story and gives John Wick the human edge that no film similar to it seems to understand. Stunning cinematography that captures every action scene with the simplicity of a movie that knows what it's doing, never tiring in the relentless pace nor leaving its audeince with enough time to ponder the plot -which is good, because it leaves more punctures in the story than a hole-puncher.
