Review of John Q (2002) by Chase H — 13 Aug 2010
While I don't agree with its political slant, I found John Q to be a powerful story about the lengths a father will go to save his child. Washington's performance was top notch, with most of the others very good too (I found the turnaround by Heche's character to be unconvincing though) and I wish Duvall's role was meatier.
You should definitely watch this. You won't be disappointed.
