John Dies is way too quirky for its own good, you can do quirky, assuming you have plenty of charm and humour to accompany it, we don't have much of that here, switch charm for gross out gags and humour for dick jokes and you'll be pretty eager for John to just hurry up and die already.
We get it, you like Army of Darkness, let's just watch that instead.
