Anyone remember Disney's 1979 'The Black Hole', with Max Schell, the uncredited voice of Slim Pickens and a bunch of awful robots? Well, they haven't learned much since, except how to do better FX.
This sprawling mess is almost as bad, despite the - ahem - majestic sweep of Egar Rice Burroughs' rollocking story. Makes two hours seem like a week and a half.
