Its a long....long ...long film. Great FX but I think the story was so much more than you actually saw in the movie. I think they must have chopped a lot out of the original book to fit it into one movie rather than make two films.
worth watching if you are into syfy and I think kids will enjoy it if they can sit still for long enough.
