A sprawling Disney epic harking back to it's 1912 roots, as well as Cecile B.DeMille spectacle and grandure. The film is a bit of a mismatch in terms of pacing and editing, but overall turned out to be an enjoyable experience.
If you enjoyed Disney's Tron Legacy a year ago you will find your place in this film. On a bonus note, all of the John Carter books are all available to read for free on Amazon Kindle.
