Ok for the most part of it, I would say its Phantom Menace meets Avatar meets Cowboys Vs. Aliens. I mean I'm not a big fan of the book itself but the pacing is just slow like hell. I mean this is supposed to be a good budget Sci fi adventure and it turns out to be flat most of the time.
It's like watching a bad Sci fi soap opera on tv or a boring stage play at midnights. The acting is so decent, there are a lot of CGI flaws and for the most part of it, it never works. A very disappointing high budgeted blockbuster with all the anticipation that leads to a flop end.
It has all the goods in the cinematography though it's not enough to impress everyone. Maybe this is recommended when your drunk.
