Review of John and Mary (1969) by Sv G — 19 Jun 2008
From 1969 comes one of Dustin Hoffman's earlier films and co-stars Mia Farrow. For it's time it was thought to be quite brave as it revolves around a one-night stand and the thougts and insecurities of each of them (aka John & Mary).
This is very indicitive of the late 60s, but perhaps SO much so in style ad dialog that it really doesn't hold up well at all. However, if a Hoffman fan or of films from the 60s (or both) this film would then be worth your watch.
