Review of Joe Versus the Volcano (1990) by Rickie W — 03 Jan 2008
A film that is intelligent and silly (bordering on stupid) all at the same time. I think that's why I like it so much. It starts off a little slow, but it's worth it to stick around and see how it ends.
It's full of philosophical musings like when Joe's shoe is coming apart and he takes it off and looks at it. He sighs and remarks sadly, "I've lost my soul.".
