Review of Joe Strummer: The Future Is Unwritten (2007) by David P — 26 Nov 2008
A cracking portrait of an unique personality. The strength of this film is that it feels more like a reminice of a fallen friend who is missed by all who speak of him, yet refuse to put him up on a pedestal.
It's so easy to make legends and deities of people like Joe, but this film shows him as he was, a human being with the same flaws as the rest of us.
