Joe strummer's death hit me hard. and after watching this movie I realize that it wasn't my memories of punk that made me cry. it was his potential for humaness. even back in those early days of punk the clash was different.

they weren't just about anarchy for the sake of anarchy but anarchy with a purpose. anarchy for the betterment of society. and whether I knew it at the time is difficult to remember but that day when joe died I knew we had lost greatness.

this movie just made that clear.
