It may be hopelessly predictable. The comedy may lean a little too heavily on the slapstick side of things. It even has Jim Belushi as a former action star turned karate instructor. But "Joe Somebody" carries enough full-bodied adult issues and heart-warming cliche'd scenes to force you to like it flaws and all.
