There's a really good film bubbling just below the surface waiting to get out. You can visibly see what the writer wanted to write but has been reigned in.
If they'd have taken out some of the slapstick and actually allowed a bit more character exposition for some of the supporting cast then this could have been brilliant.
As it is, its just an amiable rom-com that isn't really anything you've not seen before.
