Review of Joe Somebody (2001) by Robot S — 23 Jul 2012
This is a sweet, entertaining movie with a lot of heart. I don't understand why it got so bad reviews. It doesn't try to be anything it's not, it's a very watchable comedy with likeable characters and good actors.
The chemistry between Hayden Panettiere(as Joe's daughter) and Tim Allen are a joy to watch. Jim Belushi as the martial arts-teacher is exactly what you expect him to be, and that's what he does best.
It's one of my all-time favourite Tim Allen-comedies along with "For Richer and Poorer". Don't be frightened by the bad reviews. If you like unpretentious feel-good comedies for a lazy Sunday afternoon, this is a good choice.
