Review of Joe Dirt 2: Beautiful Loser (2015) by Scott W — 16 Jul 2015

While there is a genuinely sweet moral to this tale and has a few great jokes and scenes, this unnecessary sequel doesn't know what it wants to be. Some of the worst acting I've seen coupled with lowest common denominator potty humor which doesn't know when to quit really bogs down this film. And the plot makes zero sense.

Honestly you could cut out all the pointless "bits" and save about a half an hour off the runtime, but that still wouldn't save the film from being terribly written.

THAT BEING SAID, when I did laugh they were good ones and just seeing Christopher Walken back at his Walken-est somewhat makes up for it. But you'd have to be a diehard Joe Dirt fan to not finish watching this and feel like you wasted your time.
