Extremely surprised with Cage's acting. One of the best I've seen him in. Well directed and the rest of the actor did an outstanding job. Beautifully shot and really well written, it really captures the cruelty of man kind in the dirty south and their internal demons.

Some of the characters like the sister and the mother weren't developed enough. Sometimes Cage's acting got a bit out of hand but overall I really enjoyed this film.

It's one of those well directed/written films that will be underrated because of the infamy of post cage's acting career and for being a small fry film.
