Review of Jodorowsky's Dune (2013) by Damjan R — 24 Apr 2014
A documentary about 'the greatest film never made' sure sounds great on paper, but the only great thing on display here is passion and ambition, mixed with a fair bit of craziness (both healthy & unhealthy).
Jodorowsky is a gifted orator and he conveys his ideas about his ideas in a very lively manner. As a story in of itself it's an interesting film, but it's fairly static consisting mostly interviews and some animation sequences.
Film buffs will like it, but I'm not sure who else.
