Review of Jodorowsky's Dune (2013) by Victor T — 24 May 2015
A fascinating portrait of a movie project and what can happen as Hollywood gets involved. The filmmakers try to make the point that Dune would have outdone Star Wars, however it would have been hallucinatory, which probably would have limited the audience.
It would, however, have been truly one-of-a-kind and with a cast including Jagger, Welles and Dali and the creative team behind the camera it would have been truly mind-blowing. It appears that Lynch's Dune was done using a similar storyboard.
