Review of Jobs (2013) by Rylan H — 26 Jan 2014
The only passion greater than film for me is software and technology. I even have a large customized electronic media office in my home. Reason being--inspiration of the real Steve Jobs and learning from his tutorials how to build and engineer interfaces and countless gadgets....I knew once I heard Ashton was casted as the role--there would be a comedic twist on the real bio of Jobs because I cannot take Kutcher playing a serious role. Not only did the comedic timing and 'That 70's Show' voice give Steve unfunny scripting--it made his real life bio portrayed as a joke. They skipped some of the most important events and new aged technology innovated by my idol. I now know he was casted strictly for his similar looks. I really hope an independent Steve Job film will be created in the near future and hopefully by an independent filmmaker. I only gave Kutcher one chance to prove he could take on a serious role as I did for Ben Affleck: who surprised me in his acting and directing gigs for Argo. I hope the generation after mine knows the real reasoning behind why he is my idol and not take this movie seriously at this storyline of Job's life. If it weren't for him, my job wouldn't be possible. I only gave one star because there was only one good scene. Ashton lost in his own world when his old best friend tells him he's leaving the company and it's because Job's lost his mind in his work. That was an actual truth to this film and he wouldn't of innovated countless creations and the allowing of others to be different and unique with his technology if it weren't for him getting lost in his own little world towards each new age technology and software. T.
He real Job's taught me to never give up and success is the best revenge. This movie will not convince any viewer of his determination and exceeding expectations on new age technology.
