Review of Jobs (2013) by Trevor R — 03 Apr 2014
It's sadly ironic that a film so focused on the significance of creativity, innovation, and doing things that have never been done before ends up being so completely milquetoast. "Jobs" is your standard, run-of-the-mill, biopic-- utterly predictable even if you knew nothing about the real Steve Jobs.
Director Joshua Stern still attempts some interesting (but ultimately pointless) flourishes to give the script some life and Ashton Kutcher is pretty great despite some garish look-how-much-I'm-acting moments.
A well-meaning but forgettable picture that's a bit too self-important.
