A sad, bittersweet walk down memory lane-.
People forget that when Miss Rivers started in this "biz" it was almost.
Career suicide to be a lone female stand up- Yet she trudged on.
Reaching the pinnacle of being "the" guest host for the tonight show-.
Before Hurt feelings and ego ruined the relationship that spanned 40 years.
She is a waking time capsule- and the sadness in her eye's is only removed.
When a joke she has told gets a laugh. the you can see the twinkle in her eye.
