This year has offered some great documentary efforts. With "Exit Through the Giftshop" and "Joan Rivers: A Piece of Work", I can start seeing the Documentary Oscar ballot being compiled.

This is a funny and occasionally sad look into the life of Joan Rivers, a infamous diva and iconic comedienne. I knew very little about Rivers going into the film, and found a lot of her life very interesting.
