Like my other favorite Joan, Joan Rivers is a driven, insecure, giant wound of a human being. I loved seeing her drive in action, I loved seeing her apartment, I loved seeing her face on the big screen, where I could study it in detail.
I would have liked to see more archival footage, and heard more detail about Johnny Carson's abandonment of her, and Edgar's death. But I loved what I got, so who's complaining?
