One of the bollywood classics, its a cult movie, where the underdog gets away winning. Masterful direction, supported by superb music by Jatin Lalit, this movie is about a teenage school boy's romance and his larger than life dreams. He is a looser ...(read more)at school with no real aim in life. But seeing his elder brother in shambles, he comes of age to pull off a sensational victory that culminates in an adrenaline pumping cycle race. Aamir Khan does a fantastic job with his acting, mannerisms and body language. I remember when I watched it first time, I was so excited that all I wanted to do was to race on bikes! I have seen it countless times and every time I watch it, it feels like new. A must watch movie, highly recommended! At a time when the whole industry was busy falling in love and/or swearing revenge, Mansoor Ali Khan made a movie for the real world. One of the finest underdog movies in Hindi cinema, Chake de.. came onlly 15 years later.
And offcourse, a mention for "Pehla Nasha" amazingly the song is still fresh.
